Export art and antiques from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Argentina has always been a blossoming cultural country. Its arts and crafts are known around the world for their fine and authentic style, their cosmopolitan yet unique feel while becoming trend setters in a wide variety of ways.
During the 90s, the globalization of the local society impacted strongly in the local arts, a strong revaluation of our artistic history was one of its outcomes. It was then when we began to re discover fabulous art groups such as those of the Di Tella Institute, vanguards painters, sculpture-makers, etc. Back in those days a new generation of artists was developing its first works. and today, over 10 years after, we witness the strong stamp of contemporary argentine painters and artists of a new era. Their works are eclectic and various, like the techniques and styles they work with, all this blends together bringing up an aura of shine and brightness that highlights a new era within the history of Argentine art.
Contemporary artists and their works have transcended our borders towards the entire globe, taking part in shows, exhibitions and private collections from around the world.
Back in the early days, each individual unknown artist was its own manager, handling everything in his or her business, from the actual artistic creation to the sales process as well as the shipping off to any given place around the world. In the meantime their works began to be worldly known and appreciated, and most artists began to advocate only to their metier, their artistic creation, while others handled the bureaucratic matters. It wasn't complicated, thought there was no control of how once the painting was bought and someone wrapped the item correctly, it was shipped off through mail to any given location around the globe. So, due to the development and growth of shipments and productions, the national government had to work out a specific regulation for these activities, standardizing the procedures and channels of exportation. So nowadays, anyone wishing to buy or sell art in Argentina has to work within the margins of these new regulations. It's not complicated, but it takes time and paperwork and delays. For any art purchase exportation there's a gap of at least one month between the moment the item is bought and the moment it's legally ready to be shipped off the country.
We specify this because being in the business for such a long time and having become a reference name of Argentine Art and Antiques, we've recently began to receive tons of emails and phone calls of travelers who bought art in Buenos Aires and had trouble taking it home with themselves and couldn't ship it off thru regular mail. The process is not complicated but it requires a number of specific documentation and time, for it takes longer than a regular shipment of any given item.
We provide a full art buying service, meaning that we not only work to provide our clients quality items at reasonable prices, but that we also make sure that the acquired item is properly shipped out of our country and arrives to the destination indicated by our client in perfect condition.
Being the fact that the new regulations were set recently and that several art buyers have found themselves in the situation of not knowing how to take their art back home, we are now also working for those who need assistance in handling and shipping recently bought artwork in Argentina.
