The journey begins in San Francisco del Chañar ( Chanar ) , a small town near Córdoba along the Camino Real, some 128 kilometres north of the Capital, – by the way, Ernesto ( Che ) Guevara stayed here with a friend, Alberto Granado, at the Leprosy, ........... Guevara later wrote a book about it called “Diarios de Motocicleta”, a film of the same name, “The Motorcycle Diaries “ (Director: Walter Salles), was made in 2004, with additional context supplied by Granado’s report “Traveling with Che Guevara: The Making of a Revolutionary”.

El viaje comienza en San Francisco del Chañar (Chanar), un pequeño pueblo cerca de Córdoba, a lo largo del Camino Real, a unos 128 kilómetros al norte de la capital. Por cierto, Ernesto (Che) Guevara se hospedó aquí con un amigo, Alberto Granado, en La lepra, ........... Guevara más tarde escribió un libro sobre él llamado "Diarios de Motocicleta", una película del mismo nombre, "The Motorcycle Diaries" (Director: Walter Salles), se hizo en 2004, con un contexto adicional proporcionado por el informe de Granado "Viajando con Che Guevara: La fabricación de un revolucionario".
